Such beautiful clear blue skies yesterday!

After a cold, snowy and windy day on the mountain yesterday, it feels like it might be a clearer - and less windy - day today.

It's another cold morning when I can tell you about ski areas reporting up to 40cm of fresh snowfall.

After some blue sky during the day yesterday, the snow clouds finally did move in overnight and gave us some of their goodness.

Yesterday we did get some snow on the mountain and this morning ski areas are mostly reporting up to 10cm (Happo-one is going with 20cm at Kurobishi).

We have beautiful blue clear skies over Hakuba this morning. The mountains are, of course, looking amazing!

A lovely sunny day yesterday, and with the fresh snow on the mountain it was such a treat for everyone here.

It is a beautiful cold morning with clear blue skies. What makes it even better is a lot of fresh snow.

It's snowing really nicely as I put this report together.

The day is starting generally cloudy but sunny skies are expected. Looks like it should be a good day.

Fine weather yesterday with a bank of cloud gradually getting bigger as the afternoon progressed.

After all that lovely snow in the report yesterday, there's none being reported this morning.

Mornings like this feel a bit overwhelming at times, as I try to get as much info together as possible from all the ski areas.
