Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano
New snowfall at base 1cm
Snowfall at base this season 165cm
Posted on Tuesday 9th January 2024 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.
After all that lovely snow in the report yesterday, there's none being reported this morning. (I feel there was a dusting enough post report yesterday to add 1cm to this report).
Anyway, it has been a very fine morning across the region. A cold start and as we approach 12 noon the thermometer outside my place tells me it is still slightly under 0C... it will be rising a bit this afternoon.
Maybe a little snow tomorrow, then sun on Thursday, and some good potential for snow again Friday/Saturday.
In the meantime, some fine conditions to enjoy.
So, let's!
