Sunday 8th May, the last day of the 2021-2022 season.

Amazingly, the ski area this morning are reporting 16cm of fresh snow at base and just over 21cm higher up on the mountain.

We did get some rain last night. Early morning today there was some fog, but there are hints of blue sky behind the clouds now. Perhaps changeable conditions today with a chance of rain again.

Good news - we did get a bit of snow... up to 5cm on the mountain according to the ski area. Nice! It's just generally cloudy now.

Rain yesterday, drying up in the afternoon but just leaving us with cloudy skies. Bit of a surprise but there's a few cm of snow on the ground this morning from overnight.

We got clouds yesterday and a slight bit of snow to report. It is a cloudy start to this Friday morning, quite windy too but that is not due to last.

After a day of cloud and sometimes clearer weather, we did actually get a little snow earlier on this morning.

Well, another 10cm at base since my last report which is good to report. It was windy yesterday, which was less good, with some more light snow overnight.

Yesterday was a mostly cloudy day with snow starting to fall early morning - 8cm down at base so far with a bit more than that being reported by the ski area on the mountain (13cm).

This morning the ski area is reporting 40cm of fresh snow on upper areas of the mountain. And there's nearly 30cm down at base too. Excellent.

Yesterday strong winds were an issue and there is some new snow on the ground this morning - around 5cm.

And what do we have this morning. Well, snow during the day yesterday and some more overnight. Just over 30cm and no doubt more higher up.

It's a bit colder this morning (not mid winter cold), and we do have some fresh snow on the ground. Just over 15cm at base.

Around 30cm of snow this morning with the ski area itself saying there's 45cm on the upper areas of the mountain! I suppose for Geto that is kind of 'light'.
