Snowfall at base this season 1842cm

Posted on Sunday 8th May 2022 This is an archived report. The latest Geto Kogen Now report can be found here.

Sunday 8th May, the last day of the 2021-2022 season.

It is a cloudy morning but as long as rain holds off I think most people will be happy.

Truly impressive snowfall this season. The ski area itself reported a whopping 2682cm on the mountain. Nearly 27m!

At base, these reports clocked up an observed 1842cm over the season. (Incredibly that is actually 18cm short of the 1860cm last season!)

What's missing is the visitors from overseas, but we are all hopeful that situation will be improved for 2022-2023 season.

Thank you for reading the reports.

Until next season!
