Good morning from Geto Kogen.
Hey it's the last day of April, but who wants some fresh snow?!
Amazingly, the ski area this morning are reporting 16cm of fresh snow at base and just over 21cm higher up on the mountain. What about that then? Not only will that feel good under the plank(s), but it has given everywhere a bit of a fresh white look.
There's not that many clouds left around now and blue sky, so it is probably the best we could hope for on 30th April.
I almost don't want to mention it, but we need to be ready for a good chance of some rain coming our way tomorrow.
More sunshine due beyond that.
Courses & lifts:
The Number 1 gondola and Number 1 pair lifts plan to be operating for this last section of the season.
Most normal rums remain at least part open. Daily checks are being made on opening to decide on what courses are open each day.
Tree run courses now closed for the season.
Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area):
Upper: 250cm
Lower: 115cm
Total accumulated snowfall (as reported by the ski area):
2682cm
Spring season
Geto Kogen plans to be open until 8th May.
