Good morning from Geto.
Rain yesterday, drying up in the afternoon but just leaving us with cloudy skies. Bit of a surprise but there's a few cm of snow on the ground this morning from overnight. That light snow has stopped and it is now just cloudy - but with quite a strong wind sticking around.
We might enjoy some sun today, and a higher chance of that happening from early morning tomorrow. It's going to be warmer again tomorrow too. Currently it is just under 0C.
Courses open:
Most of the ski area remains at least part open.
Tree run courses dependent on morning inspection.
Official snow depth (as reported by the ski area):
Upper: 450cm
Lower: 310cm
Total accumulated snowfall (as reported by the ski area):
2652cm
Spring season
It is now officially spring season with cheaper lift tickets.
The Number 1 gondola and Number 1 pair lifts plan to be operating for this last section of the season.
Geto Kogen plans to be open until 8th May.
