And we're off! But we're not out of the woods yet.

Started snowing last night, and really kicked on this morning.

Another very light dusting of snow overnight. It met the minimum 1 cm threshold, so I am obligated to tell you about it.

The previous Furano correspondent of several years has retired. To where exactly, nobody seems to know, but I’ll go ahead and vote Bali, as that sounds nice.

Another fine season has finally come to and end, with today being the last day of operation for the 2023-2024 winter.

It is a nice warm spring day with the temperature currently +9c and the day high is expected to reach +18c.

There is a nice layer of 4cm of fresh snow around the base area.
