Good Morning Skiers & Boarders,
A beautiful mostly blue-sky day here in Furano. We had a few flurries yesterday that gave a bit of snow. The resort is reporting 10 cm on top, but that's not how we roll at SnowJapan. That data is only for your reference.
Snow-wise, we ARE getting snow, and it IS staying plenty cold, but the forecast is calling for "light snow" for the foreseeable future. And by "light snow", I don't think they are talking about the snow quality that Furano is renowned for. While that is better than NO snow, we still need a good chunk more for the rest of the mountain to open, especially Kitanomine by the 21st.
