Yesterday things went a bit tropical and temperatures pushed through to +2c during the day.

It is good news on the snow front with a further 6cm falling overnight.

Overnight, snow has been falling and continues to do so as I write this.

Overnight there has been a light dusting of snow in the ski village of 1cm.

Temperatures are very cold this morning and the highest we will get to in town is around -8c.

The resort is being hit by light winds at the moment and at the same time it is snowing very lightly, but little is accumulating on the ground.

There has been a good topping up of snow since the report yesterday was posted.

It is a nice crispy winter morning and currently -12c in Kitanomine village.

It is a calm morning in the village. Early on there were some strong winds gust sporadically coming through, but these have passed.

There is 6cm of new snow this morning but at village level it is very wet and heavy.

It is -7c right now, but the temperature is set to rise rapidly going positive with a high of around +1c.

The much needed replenishment of snow started late yesterday and continues as of now.

It is a beautiful morning with the sun hitting the upper part of the resort and giving the mountain an orange hue.

There was just a light dusting of new snow overnight but the trickle has continued and the total build up in the village is 3cm.
