Posted on Sunday 11th February 2018 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.
There is 6cm of new snow this morning but at village level it is very wet and heavy. Continuous light snow is on the forecast for today but there is nothing falling at the moment. The temperature is warm again and snow conditions are likely to be a bit heavy on the lower slopes with best conditions higher up. It is foggy with cloud rolling almost down to base and this will make visibility patchy in places and there will be flat light conditions.
