Snowfall at base this season 529cm

Posted on Tuesday 13th February 2018 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.

It is a nice crispy winter morning and currently -12c in Kitanomine village. Unfortunately there is only a slight dusting of snow to report, but with all the fresh snow and cold temperatures over the last few days there is plenty of good snow all over the mountain. Up high we have a thin cloud layer which is being brightened up by the sun behind it. Visibility is very good and there is now wind.

Kitanomine Zone open.

Furano Zone open.
