The strong winds of Saturday died out overnight with only light winds in the village this morning.

The forecasted snow did arrive yesterday and has delivered 22cm of new snow at village level.

When I awoke this morning there was no sign of any snowfall happening, however in the last hour the forecasted snow has arrived and so far has accumulated to 2cm.

The snow started late yesterday afternoon and then stopped early evening, and then restarted later.

After checking for a second time incase I had misread it, "wow" is what I uttered as I confirmed the thermometer was showing -24c in the village.

It feels good to be able to report a decent amount of snow this morning, although not a mega number, 7 cm at village level is significant.

Although we haven't have any significant amounts of fresh snow for a few days the course conditions are great for this time of year.

We have cloud and foggy covering the resort this morning so I would expect there to be areas of low light at the least, if not reduced visibility due to fog.
