The strong winds of Saturday died out overnight with only light winds in the village this morning. The grooming team had had enough time to groom all main runs but there was still great powder pockets to be found. The resort was late to open the Kitanomine Gondola, and finally that got operating around 9:30am. As the gondola didn't operate yesterday it gave access to some pretty amazing snow which of course couldn't be access yesterday.
