Now that the season is over it has given me time to reflect and sum up how things panned out in 2016/17.

It is 19c right now and that will be the maximum for the day, which is not quite a warm as yesterdays 25c.

Cool temperatures have once again brought some unexpected snow to the village.

It was pretty surprising to look out of the window this morning and see the village painted white yet again!

What a day it turned out to be yesterday with heavy snowfalls and cold temperatures staying with Furano for the entire day.

We have awoke this morning to a heavy snowfall blanketing all roads, gardens, roofs and anything else exposed.

Looking up at Kitanomine the grassy areas have been coated in white this morning.

Chilly is the feeling of the morning with just +1c in the village right now, and the day high expected to be +8c.

Looking out of the window this morning the vista was back to winter, rather than spring, with the village coated in a blanket of white.

It is a lovely morning with mostly cloudy skies, but plenty of sunshine managing to get through.

It is snowing lightly right now and should continue to do so throughout the day.

Winter rolls on with a nice dusting of 3cm of fresh snow this morning.

There was some new snow on the ground this morning.

Good news on the snow front with moderate precipitation and 4cm accumulation on the ground in the village.
