Looking up at Kitanomine the grassy areas have been coated in white this morning. It is currently snowing/sleeting in the village and there has been 2cm of snow accumulated on gardens. The amount of fresh snow should be significant on the ski runs at the top of the resort. The snow is expected to continue through until tomorrow evening. There is fog on the mountain that extends to just above base level so visibility will be fair at best. A light wind is blowing but will pick up later in the morning.
