Yesterday was, as expected, warm. The Japan Meteorological Agency recorded a town level temp of 12C at 2pm.

Things cooled down nicely last night, so no more pesky above zero temps today. As a bonus, we got a whiff of new snow overnight.

It was raining sometime in the middle of the night, causing me to wake for a moment and think, “Blech.”

Well, after that warm spring-like weekend, it is actually snowing again this morning. Temps still on the milder side, but good to feel a bit more like winter.

I believe it warmed up to about 10C in the village later in the afternoon yesterday.

Cloud gathered as the day progressed yesterday, but it remained fairly bright and sunny until late afternoon.

No fresh snow to report this morning and some cloudier skies to start this Sunday morning. In fact, it looks rather poor visibility higher up early on.

Fine weather yesterday, particularly in the first half of the morning, with more cloud around in the afternoon.

Sunny and warm seems to be what we get this weekend, as expected, with the peak of it due tomorrow.
