New snowfall at base 1cm
Snowfall at base this season 1036cm

It was raining sometime in the middle of the night, causing me to wake for a moment and think, “Blech.”
It’s snowing now, but I’m not sure if it’s so much less blech-y. The snow, which was pretty warm and soft yesterday, is now going to be hard an crunchy. Maybe not so much for the resorts, depending on their grooming regimen, but anywhere out there in the natural snow (this comes from snowshoeing on some pretty fun, soft stuff yesterday).
Backcountry is going to be a pretty good trial, so slide slow if you’re going out there.
