Yesterday was, as expected, warm. The Japan Meteorological Agency recorded a town level temp of 12C at 2pm. So it felt more like late March than mid-February.
After the brightness of yesterday, it's a dull and grey kind of morning with limited visibility... and a bit damp.
It is colder (just under 2C) and not expected to warm up during the day, with a chance of rain/sleet/snow during the day. Hopefully we can avoid the rain and get some fresh snow, but I wouldn't expect much. Better chance of snow as you go higher.
Tomorrow will be a bit warmer again (though thankfully not as much as this past weekend) and we'll probably get some more sunshine; same for Wednesday during the day, with snow due overnight into Thursday morning. Some forecasts indicate that we might get a decent layer of fresh from that.
Can't help but wonder how the rest of February and March will shape up, but probably best not to waste too much time doing so!
