Stormy conditions again this morning in Zao with snow falling, strong winds blowing and generally very poor visibility.

Alas, not much to report from yesterday and this morning we are seeing some sun shining through with improved visibility.

Morning from Zao. It's snowing!

A very cold morning. There is cloud on some areas of the mountain.

23cm of fresh snow on the ground to report as it continues to pile up. It's cold and visibility is limited.

The snowy conditions continue here in Zao, with 9cm more snow to report at base.

There is a lot of cloud around but at the same time just a little before there was a bit of sunshine peeking through.

The safety ceremony took place over on the Uwanodai base area yesterday. Fittingly, snow was falling for the occasion.

Fine day yesterday. Sunshine. Opening of new Lawson convenience store (big news in a little village).

It's snowing again. Again, not a huge amount to report - just a few cm on the ground - and hopefully more by the time we get into tomorrow.

It's a bright and sunny morning here in Zao with just a little more snow to report.

Light snow is falling as I write this and there's another 2cm on the ground at base to report.
