Very heavy snowfall over the last day or so and it is still snowing.

Phew, just been out shovelling. It's really cold outside and blowing snow. Good old mid-winter conditions.

We're enjoying a bit of sunshine right now, in between bouts of snowfall.

Ended up with some fine weather yesterday afternoon but we're back to snow again this morning.

It's a fine morning here in Shiga Kogen. Clear blue skies and sunshine, with cold temperatures and associated nice snow conditions. Beautiful.

Another 10cm or so in places since the report yesterday morning, though it is (as so often is the case) going to vary where you are.

Yesterday was a mild day. It felt a bit like March; more March than January anyway. Feels colder this morning, and it's snowing again.

Fine weather yesterday and relatively mild with it too. Some light snow overnight but for the moment it's just cloudy with a bit of a foggy feel in places.

Shiga Kogen is a wide area, of course, so you can get quite different weather happening at the same time in different areas.
