Cold, moderate snowfall and wind this morning with generally poor visibility. It's stormy out there. Some lifts are going to be affected.
These conditions are certainly not for everyone, but the snow falling is top quality stuff and once things calm down conditions should be excellent.
Kumanoyu and Yakebitaiyama are both reporting 30cm of fresh snowfall and I concur. There's more and there's less in different places - the wind is seeing to that.
Snowfall might ease today but there's quite a lot more snow lined up on forecasts. In particular for over the weekend, so if you plan to be here over the weekend come prepared.
