The sun is out and it's going to be another warm day in Hakuba.

Good morning from Hakuba and what a fine morning it really is. That was one good March storm yesterday.

Good morning and good news I have. Yes, we do have that snow that we were promised.

Good morning from Hakuba, and a fine morning it is as well.

Temperatures dropped down to minus double figures overnight again and as of 9am it is around -6C here in Hakuba.

Resorts this morning reporting up to 10cm of fresh snowfall and outside my place I have up to 5cm. It is still snowing now.

The skies gradually got greyer and greyer as the day went on yesterday, and then the snow came.

Another cold morning in Hakuba, currently around -6 degrees in the village and we should keep below zero through the day.

It is colder this morning again.

The snow has started.

Lots of cloud around this morning along with generally poor visibility on higher slopes, and some snow as well.

Some light snow falling this morning and a few cm on the ground with up to 10cm being reported on upper slopes - updates from around the resorts where available below.

Rain yesterday down here in the village I'm afraid, but snow (borderline sleet at times) was falling at higher elevations at times during the day.

A fine day yesterday, warming up in the sun in the afternoon and mostly clear skies; quite a lot of cloud forming around the mountains by the time the lifts closed for the day.
