Tsugaike is reporting 10cm this morning, with the big ski areas in Hakuba village all saying up to 5cm on the mountain.

We have another of those days when there appears to have been some pretty good snowfall at higher elevations, as reported by the ski areas, but not really much at all down at base.

Tsugaike Mountain Resort is reporting 'about 40cm' of snow since last night. Impressive.

It's raining down at base. Hakuba 47 is reporting snow higher up but I can't really see that on the webcam.

The Hakuba Goryu webcam shows a mix of blue sky and cloud. The other two look like they are almost black-and-white.

It's a beautiful morning here in Hakuba.

Light snow this morning and some limited visibility on the mountains. That should improve as the day goes on and we might even get some sun and clearer conditions.
