Snowfall at base this season 65cm
Posted on Saturday 20th December 2025 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.
Morning from Hakuba.
The Hakuba Goryu webcam shows a mix of blue sky and cloud. The other two look like they are almost black-and-white.
We do expect fine weather today, along with those long forecast warm conditions. It might get up to about 12C in the village this afternoon.
The Milky quad lift and Soft Cream run are now open in the Iimori area of Hakuba Goryu.
A few more lifts and runs are open at Happo-one, too.
And Tsugaike, too.
Obviously, ski areas want to get as much open as possible, especially with Christmas and then New Year approaching and more people gradually turn up.
More fresh snow would help!
