It is sunny today - a clear, beautiful day, just a few fluffy clouds in the sky, and a light breeze from the southwest (it's always hard to tell here at the base at Akakan, because the winds pass around Mt. Myoko and the gap around Mt. Maeyama, and seem more southerly than they probably really are. On the top of Maeyama, you'lll often have winds blasting from one direction, then suddenly have them switch). But nice weather, of course, makes us look froward to the next blast of snow, which looks likely over the coming days. Suntan today; face shots in a few more days. A perfect combination.
