rajeem, try a good chablis or chardonnay of a summer evening, may change your mind. Go for something with a bit of color and viscosity. Cheap whites are a truely miserable experience, though.

If you chill a red wine, many of the flovors aren't released on drinking. Warm, too, is not good, however. Depending on the wine, 14-18 degrees is considered a good drinking temperature, rather hard to manage in a Japanese summer without the aid of a wine cellar/fridge!
