When I came here at first, I was in love with most things, everything was so exciting. It was kinda fun not understanding everyhing. Now that I understand much more, I enjoy "real" friendships now but also dislike quite a few things. Japan certainly is nowhere near as exotik as it used to be ;\)

I still don't understand crap as far as the language goes, but I can see what you mean by not understanding. Just getting used to the way of life over here has worn off some of that glittery 'I'm new here!' shine. It's simply a familiarity issue with me. When I travel away from places I'm used to or have been a few times over here, I feel like I'm once again submerged in the foreigness that is Japan.

I need to travel more. My company sucks.
