You should see the crap printed in textbooks about China, Korea, WW2, etc... It shocking how Japanese are always the "vicitms." Riiigghhht. Theres nothing in there about anything significant - schools in Japan are a joke, which is why 2/3 of the students in the country have to go to Jukus - to learn whats really on the college entrance exams. Schools in Japan are like Boot camp for Marines. All they learn is how to deal with crap, learn to be part of a group, not do be different from their group or face being ridiculed and left out, or worse, physical bullying or mental abuse.
