2pints-mate 0
Do you guys and gals over there watch the local news? What's it like? UK news seems so drab at times, ever so serious. We saw some tv when we were over there, obviously not much but it seemed pretty wacky and bright even the news programs. Just wondering if the sober serious news is a brit thing... other countries? grungy-gonads 54
NHK is the most serious, perhaps like the BBC. Others are less, lots of local tv stations can do "new items" on the local kid who collects beetles.
brit-gob 9
I used to watch news station at 10pm a fair bit but not recently. Whats that new dude like on it?
Octavio Estrada 0
NHK at 10pm is the most watchable.
scouser 4
I try to keep up with the Japanese news at least a few times a week but can't stomach many of the programs. NHK is suitably serious, thats the one I usually find myself watching.
slimeypete 0
I don't know about the news in the UK, but BBC World sure is drab. The news I find myself watching the most is that one at 11pm with Tshchidsukichi Tatsuya or whatever his name is.
