white-void 0
Can I change the annoying Windows start up/shut down jingle-like music with my own short sound clips? If so, how do I do it? (I wonder who made them, and if they got paid a lot.)
jstepp 0
Ya, click the start menu -> settings -> control panel -> Sounds and Multimedia Properties then scroll to "Exit Windows" or "Start Windows" and highlight it then click "browse" and get your desired .wav file... im pretty sure it MUST be a .wav format be sure to save the .wav file you want to use somewhere on your hard drive good luck, we're all counting on you

bobby12 0
If you have 'musicmatch jukebox' (the best mp3 player program) you can just click file/convert and it will convert the mp3s to wav. I know because i just did it and i have loads of 2001 quotes running on my PC :-)
