kernal 0
Hey all Me and my 3 friends are hitting the ski slopes of Japan for the first time in January next year, 22nd of jan to the 27th of jan, as part of our first trip to Japan. I've decided to stay at Shiga Kogen in the Villa Alpine resort. Is this hotel good? I read the reviews here and so far it seems to be a nice relativly cheap place to stay. My question is where do we ski? It says there are 5 ski areas close by but which is best? I am a very capable skiier but unfortunatly my friends are not, so i need to be able to cater for them. Also if anyone is in the area at the time and is willing to hang out with us and help us grab our bearings, it would be awesome Hope yo get a reply soon
snosurf 0
I thought this was going to be a post about you losing your virginity in japan. How disappointing.
XL 0
If it is Shiga Kogen there are 20 or so connected resorts you can enjoy. A huge area.

Yuki's Passion 1
they're all diff kernal...but just a heads up: Japanese snow is different from Aussie snow so your skis wont work here. I suggest buying some new ones here.
thursday 1
it's also colder, so a jacket upgrade would be needed.
