Niseko or Somewhere else

Planning my Christmas trip. If I go to Niseko again, it'll be my 4th time there.

 

Can't seem to tear myself away from Niseko and try some other resort like Naeba or Shiga Kogen or Furano.

 

Any suggestions to break myself away from Niseko.

Have you thought of maybe doing part of the time in Niesko and part of your time somewhere else, somewhere like Yamagata or Nozwa onsen. On the other hand how about a road trip of Hokkaido's resorts?

I would try other places for sure. Variety is a good thing. You might be surprised at quality of other place.

it depends on what you want. other places offer as much snow usally and higher mountains.

 

Due a bit more of a search really hokkaido isnt the only place with snow.

the naeba/tashiro/kagura/mitsumata connected resorts will give you a lot of fun. there's a lot of space to have a go at, though if you are staying in naeba you have to be sure to get the 4 resort pass [JPY5,000 per day..ish] nozawa onsen is a cracking resort - not sure i'd like to spend a whole week there though, depends on how long you are staying.
