AndDee 0
Looks like warm temps and rain over these dates, what are other peoples thoughts ?
AndDee 0
Northern Japan resorts like Niseko look to be okay with light snow forecast.
muikabochi 208
It might rain, but sometimes in cases like this they are totally wrong and it misses us completely. Having said that, it usually does rain in January at some point I believe.
bushpig 0
Saw a news report on avalanche risks and they were saying that temps are expected to be the same as mid March this weekend. Not a good sign...
muikabochi 208
Looks like it is going to be a fine day here. Very cold early on but says it will go up to around +4 or 5 during the day.
number9 0
Going to Shiga in north Nagano, and the ski resorts seem to forecast mostly below freezing temperatures, but tomorrow had a high of 1 degrees at Shigakogen. Hope it doesn't combine with rain (just going up the hill should help).
quattro 1
Just looking at the forecast for Saporro temps were warmer but still below frezeing. Which is good
sava 0
where can you get forecasts for specific resorts?
number9 0
Ski resort forecasts http://weather.yahoo.co.jp/weather/jp/leisure/ski/
bushpig 0
if you can read japanese (or bumble thru the names enough) then you can get specifics on the yahoo japan weather site. Follow thru to the prefecture, and town/area the resort is in, and then there is a link on the left for ski resorts in the region. Click on that and a list should appear. Then just choose the one you want.
Fattwins 0
whichever people the warm front is pushing through. dont head into the BC untill things settle which will happen fast after the front passes. The warm front is usally followed by a bit of snow as things cool again.
