Spent 2 weeks up there, yes there were quite a few aussie, didnt see any major problem. Heaps of drunk locals though, moreso than the Aussies. Went out everynight to a different restaruant and probably 10% aussies eating out

Northern Japan resorts like Niseko look to be okay with light snow forecast.

Looks like warm temps and rain over these dates, what are other peoples thoughts ?

I have 4 nights in the Tokyo area late Feb. Looking around for hotels and somewhere that is well located to stay. Hard to work out what is where, and finding all the hotels Looking for 4-5 star hotels Any help with good areas to stay in, tips, websites for booking, and just hotel names in general would be great Park Hyatt is looking the go at this stage

I have that sometimes, in Aus during the day you can be the only ones in the cinemas at times. Few weeeks ago was me and the girlfriend, just us in the cinema, about 10 mins into it, another couple come and say we are in their seats. We moved but laughed at the same time as there was at least 300 other seats free

Most websites have outdated photos etc, when compared to the US/Canada and Aussie resorts the Japanese websites look pre-historic.

Niseko booked out pretty fast this year... Yes I know it will be busy and it their will be heaps of Aussies. So one certain member can leave those comments for elsewhere Booked it all about 6 weeks ago now, I had a few options of hotels, but the lack of info/photos made it hard, so I took the travel agents recomendation

Mainly to know what to expect, it was far from the first preference but was one of the only hotels available when I made the booking.

We are staying at the Park Hotel in Niseko in February. Cannot find any good pics/website with any info on this hotel. Any pics/reviews/comments would be great

A bunch of us from another ski forum over in Australia are heading across to Niseko at various times in the upcoming season. We would all like to know some hints/tips on restaurants, onsens, and just general info on what's good to do and what's not so good to do. And YES we all know there will be heaps of Aussies there this year. Best Bars Best Restaurants Best Onsens That's the kinda stuff we would love to know from people that have been there before. Thanks !!!
