horrified 0
Hey y'all! Don't know if this has been asked before, but I've got my children's plastic sleds, bought here in Japan. They don't quite slide as quickly as we'd like, so I was wondering if it's OK to use ski-wax on them. Would wax make em slide easier? Or would it gum them up. They're just cheap plastic. Cheers
marnix 0
I don't think it will stick on the plastic very long.
tsondaboy 0
how about if you used some plastic polishing cream etc instead of wax?
gamera 0
I think you had better ask some DIY shop staffs if some spray for plastic shovels work or not. I have some spray for it but mine are all for iron e.g. for snowblower and metal shovels not for plastic.
Ocean11 0
Plastic sleds quickly go brittle in the cold and become hazardous. Just slap lard on the outside surface of the child and give it a good shove to get it going.

Fattwins 0
the iron could damage ie melt the sled. use spary on wax or roll on wax. If you do this flim it cause the ending isnt gonna be good. I want to see it on Break.com
me jane 0
How old are your children? Why don't you buy/rent them skis?
horrified 0
Thanks for the tips. The lard idea was the funniest. My kids are 10 and 4 years old. Of course my 10-year-old and I go snowboarding together, but we'll be at a hotspring soon where we will be sliding. Maybe I'll try the spread-on wax. Thanks.
