pjem 0
Anyone know much about the skiing at Kusatsu?
SKI 15
I quite like it, got some decent long runs right from the top to bottom. Not too busy either. (Not good for snowboarder though)
Markie 0
Isn't that where they have summer skiing on grass slopes?
marnix 0
Not too busy with 1 long, rather flat run from the top to the bottom. There are a few short powder lines, but with some hiking (when I was there no one bothered what and where you were going) the lines get longer.
scouser 4
Smelly village, skiers-only hill when I was there. Good job I didn't bother taking my snowboard.
marnix 0
Very smelly indeed! Another reason to be on the snow as long as possible.
Error404 0
Nice place Kusatsu, once you get used to the smell. Good when you can drive over to Shiga Kogen and Nozawa over the top as well.
pjem 0
That's only right at the end of the season when you can do that right? I think the ski resort at Kusatsu is actually closed when it gets to that time as well.
