montoya 0
There was an article here awhile back, which gave some specifics on course length, etc: http://www.snowjapan.com/e/spotlight/niseko-1.html However, you will still need to investigate which lifts are open for night-riding, and so on. It might be worth contacting Tokyu directly for more info.
advantyper 0
Cool, tks for the info. Looks like I made the right choice in picking Niseko for my next trip.
Fattwins 0
you are going for the night sking?
advantyper 0
hey Fattwins No.. not going for night skiin'. Heard they have the best dry powder in Hokkaido, but after reading bout all the Aussie there, thinking bout switching mountain. Prefer a mountain where the native hang out or something. Fattwins 0
I like nagano myself because the mountains are double the size. If you want the northern places PM capt. stag or his better half Shimba. They live up North and could point you to some nice hidden gems, that get more snow than niseko. Also think about Tomamu or Furano for biggish more japanese resorts. Tomamu has hikable OB sking that looks pretty good. Less snow but just as dry.
Yuki's Passion 1
I always loved the night skiing at Niseko. Its my favorite. Just thought Id say that. Up in the trees at the top of 6C all the way down to Center 4. Not steep but deep.
Fattwins 0
I prefer a night park to night powder
advantyper 0
Tks for the tips Fattwins, I'll look into Nagano.
grungy-gonads 54
I have never been nighta at Niseko but surely that isn't the biggest. I didn't think it was that much of an area they opened.
boardbaka 3
GG I think it def. is. In terms of groom runs it doesn't appear to be massive but there is A LOT off to the sides which is definitely rideable in the right light!
Stani 0
can anyone give me a contact address (email) of the resort niseko? http://www.niseko.ne.jp/en/index.html on this page I couldn't find it thx
