sarge 0
When I was at Niseko the other week, I noticed a lot of the Japanese people with a chalk pouch hanging from them. Just wondering what the reason for that is

sarge 0
What rock climbers dip their hands into when climbing. Generally filled with chalk powder, but I guess in this case it would be filled with something else
Jinja 0
Oh God no, you're joking please tell me. I bet it's so they can dry their hands when they take off their gloves so they can smoke their cigarettes without getting it wet..... That really makes me worry for the Japanese brain
NoFakie 45
Latest fashion. Pouch-like drawstring bag. I think most kids keep a stubby PET (plastic) bottle of oolong tea or some other drink inside. In Japan, cigarettes are also a good bet. I've also seen kids with large looped straps dangling from their waists. Catch one of them on a branch and it could be curtains. In terms of immobility and aches, hands after climbing (esp. for beginner) beats back leg after powder. Great fun though.
Davo 1
The chalk pouch is last years news-the really happening and wacky kid wouldn't be seen dead without his/her fox tail hanging off the ass. The more endangered the animal the better. Hot pick for next season are platform boots for the ladies and board mounted GPS for fellas who seriously need some direction in life. NumB 0
Very cool fashion. I think they are English teachers trying to earn a buck at the top of the hill.
