Lose a lot of ticket sales, but save a lot on staff costs. Thats if they can get rid of the staff without problems

I'm not sure they would lost that much if they can lay off the staff etc. There's hardly anyone out on the hills anyway right now, so resorts that stay open late must lose a wad of cash on a daily basis anyway.

Surely quite a lot. Looks like GALA is closing over 2 weeks earlier than planned. That must hurt.

Wonder what the situation is like with the staff and giving them "notice" of an early layoff for a ski resort. Can they? If they can, then they will be saving, but if they can't that's a whole different matter.

The ones most likely to lose out are the ones staying open with close-to-zero snow. Not many people are gonna want to go out there and they must keep on staff etc. Looks kind of sad...

Surely they must lose a lot of money. Their business plans are made with a certain period in mind. Having to close down 2 or 3 weeks early will mean a considerable amount of revenue being lost. SURELY. I don't know about staffing issues, but it seems pretty obvious to me that closing so early will not be good for the accounts.
