js 0
Depends on the day: If I have that wild-eyed and manic Garfield the cat on caffeine feel, hit the groomed black trails for speed runs - using beginners like the poles on a GS or Slalom course. (No whacking the poles though ) If more chilled-out and relaxed, will do the powder for the sounds of silence amongst the trees - nirvana! Either way, it's all good.
montoya 0
yeah ok, peaker has a point, a looooong groomed 3-5k run (eg Furano) can rock on a board, especially if there's no one around and you can hang it out at mach speed
NoFakie 45
Niseko may be known for powder, but whoever writes Niseko Now is not afraid to give it the old "conditions are best on the groomies" more often than the "does it ever stop snowing at Niseko?" crowd would probably like to admit. Presumably this is because it does stop snowing in Niseko, the lines get tracked, the sun gets on them, and they get all nasty and crusty and cruddy. In which case, conditions will be best on the groomers.
