napwneon 0
I know I'm about two weeks late, but I'm heading to Tokyo business starting this weekend and I'm wondering if there are any ski resorts within striking distance of Tokyo that are still active? I know of Gassan but it's fairly small and I'm not sure of the conditions or if it's easily reachable. I'm just upset at missing the (fantastic) spring blizzards in Tahoe, so I'm trying to get my last skiing of the year if possib.e

Tubby Beaver 209
I wouldn't be flying up here for it....so was just saying. If Kagura is still open, go there. Nakayama Toge is very small and usually only good for their park, but they closed that last weekend

Tubby Beaver 209
No I didn't bother going.....it's a PITA to get to without a car and pretty small. Yes they pass there on the way to Ru, from Sapporo

MagSeven 40
what time did you do the Toya marathon in Mag? We did the 10km 'marason'. Was running with the Mrs trying to get her round in under 50, but we came in 18 seconds too late! 50:18. Next one is the Otaru half in June.
