big-will 7
Jose Mourinho pointed the finger at David Moyes, blaming him for Rooney’s unhappiness at the club, because the new United manager described the England striker as ‘second-choice’ to Robin Van Persie.Mourinho waged war when asked if Moyes should shoulder the blame. “Of course” he responded. The Chelsea manager said “We are trying to get a player that a manager told ‘You will be a second option’ for him (Van Persie).” Maureen making a point of being 'ethical' again. grungy-gonads 54
He's a bellend really isn't he. Interesting, but ultimately a bellend. Whatever the results, I'm glad United didn't take him on. Him being Jose, of course.
Tubby Beaver 209
How do u feel about Moyes, GG? Of course very early in his tenure, he hasn't bought anyone yet but the team are playing as well as they did at the end of last season....going to be interesting
grungy-gonads 54
Really don't know, as you said it's just too early. And all the bullshit stories you don't know what to believe - apart from the fact that we haven't signed anyone yet of course. Ask me tomorrow morning perhaps for further thoughts. rach 1
Rooney on the coach apparently, looking like he might start. Would be funny if him and Moyes had been trolling Maureen all summer. Well, funnier than alternative stories.
rach 1
I'll get up at 6am and watch it.
Tubby Beaver 209
It starts at 6?
rach 1
Starts at 4, but I don't think I can manage to get up for that. Get up at 6 and watch my recording.
pie-eater 207
That's my plan too. I'm still not sleeping right over a week after being back in Japan.....hard to get to sleep, and then oversleeping.
pie-eater 207
Woke up at 4:30, so decided to watch it. Not the most exciting result, but I was entertained at times. Perhaps I'm just fresh with the footie and easily entertained at times. United looked the better team. How old is Oscar? Is he a teenager yet?
pie-eater 207
Can't quite believe United would sell Rooney to striker less Chelsea, even for massive cash. He/similar is just what they need.
pie-eater 207
Why was Mata on the bench?
Tubby Beaver 209
Rumours of Mourinho not fancying him.....dunno if that's because he already has a wife or because he isn't gay, but either way seems Mata is out the picture
grungy-gonads 54
I heard that too, which is silly considering he was one of their best players last season.
grungy-gonads 54
Oh well a draw. Disappointed we didn't snatch it (obviously). Don't know if Kagawa is not ready, but I think he should have gone on rather than Giggs. If he's not ready though, why's he on the bench. Rooney put in a decent performance. grungy-gonads 54
Ashley Cole. Just **** right off out of my sight please.
NoFakie 45
Bit of a snorefest on the whole. Rooney aside, not a lot of will to win out there. Mourinho mustn't fancy Demba Ba if he thinks a midfielder is better.
