snowdude 44
Had a Hotaru matsuri tonight. There is one here every year. Anyone live in an area where you can see them? I am not so into insects but it is nice to stand by the river on a cool night like tonight wtaching them fly around in the dark.
muikabochi 208
Sounds early! There's a few spots round Muikamachi and you can often see them whizzing around outside if you go for walks in the rice fields. Like.

muikabochi 208
Rode past the 'Hotaru no sato' in Muikamachi last night. They don't even have their traditional red lanterns up yet by the road, so a while off yet here.
