klingon 10
My friend got me one of these for my birthday. I think it was a hint I had put some weight on. Thought it seemed silly at first, but actually I have really enjoyed using it, and it has spurred me on to lose a bit of weight.... kind of bullying me into wanting to beat my usage each day. It kind of works in that way. It's nothing revolutionary of course, and I doubt I would slap down the cash they ask for it either, but it has been fun and it's really nicely done. pie-eater 207
I just looked that up. First of all I read Nike's gumpf, then went to Wiki The Nike+ FuelBand is an activity tracker that is worn on the wrist. As part of the Quantified Self movement, the Fuelband allows the wearer to track their physical activity, steps taken daily, and amount of calories burned. The information from the wristband is integrated into the Nike+ online community and phone application, allowing the wearer to set their own fitness goals, monitor their progression, and compare themselves to others part of the community. Nike+ relies on the gamification of fitness activities turning all tracked movement into NikeFuel points, which can unlock achievements, can be shared with friends, or can be used to engage others in competition. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC6wptkt2Wk

Alexander L 80
looks good. Might give this one a try. But wary of the novelty value and just dumping it after a week.
Metabo Oyaji 71
looks good. Might give this one a try. But wary of the novelty value and just dumping it after a week. Looks like it can also be used as a watch, so there's always that.
