Ocean11 0
Fattwins, I wish you would type just a leetle more carefully. I want to understand what you say, but sometimes it's pretty hard to figure it out. Same with s_f_g/sam. Cheers. The Pedant
Fattwins 0
Oh man, I really do suck. I say I will check, but there I go again not checking. Ocean I will try harder to type clearly, with a little less typos.

jared 0
thats the same place that fattwins just directed us to - have you seen their vid? is there anything in the vid that isnt in the book or is it just for snowboarders that cant read?
damian 0
I notice that in the statistics section on the site(I only grazed a few pie charts, didnt read much text at this stage) they list categories of people killed. They have Skiiers, mountaineers, snowmobilers.... but no boarders. I am glad i ride one of them, we appear 100% safe. Unless that is we fit in "other recreational" category. More likely boaders account for the 7% yellow slice of the pie. deaths by activity: either way, it looks like old fart, ocean11 (sorry mate) is safe at about 3% chance of death. zwelgen 0
OMG that dude in the hospital sounds terrible. All that injuries just for a bit of powder. I mean I know you can hurt yourself but that sounds like its beyond pain So avie stuff yeah, Im a bit freaked about even getting started. I mean it sounds so satisfying to hike somewhere big and make some fanastic turns, but how do you go from tours with a guide to solo - a bit like scuba diving ie you gotta do it regularly or what?
