grungy-gonads 54
Whether it's British or not, it's a stupid thing.
pie-eater 207
I asked this to some oldies once, they said that a long, long time ago in an Empire far far away, being able to afford to have a carpet in your bathroom was a thing to boast about perhaps like a status thing. So that was why it happened. I have no idea if there is any truth in that. Bloody marvellous weather here, not a cloud in the sky, t-shirt weather. Just fantastic.
NoFakie 45
My folks place has sakura trees at the bottom of the street. They're on the way to the shops. I must have walked past them hundreds of times in bloom but I can't say I ever noticed them. I was probably too busy thinking about Battle Picture Weekly or midget gems. pie-eater 207
Loads of sakura out at the moment. And billions* of daffodils. (* perhaps even more)
pie-eater 207
And that's just in Wigan.
grungy-gonads 54
You should take a big sheet of blue plastic and have a picnic under there pie-eater. Come on, do it properly!!
SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan#Andrew 6 Posted March 26, 2012 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted March 26, 2012 Glad you're having fun pie-eater, trekking up Billing Lump hey? The family have been telling me how amazing the weather is right now - good timing there. Have a pie and beer for me before you come back.
pie-eater 207
Will do! Here's tonights home-made hot pot. Bloody ace it was. Thanks Mum. Going to the pub tonight with a few friends, I think that might be the end of the photojournalism reporting for this time. Please post comments and let me know how I'm doing. Always trying to improve the service and it's YOUR comments that help my strive towards the perfect pie and beer reporting.

Metabo Oyaji 71
Billing Lump is the talllest peak of a massive mountain range between Wigan and St Helens. More SJ1 territory really. It's some trek. That looks like the perfect site for an Iron-Age fort. Has it ever been excavated? (Trust you hiked it naked, of course.)
muikabochi 208
I'd like to try that hot pot!

pie-eater 207
A few, no doubt, big-will. Belt and jeans feeling a bit tighter than when I came. I have enjoyed myself though. Been another absolutely epic-ly amazingly gnarily beautiful day here. Can't believe the weather the last week, been the best I can ever remember almost. People walking around in shorts and skimpy stuff - massive guts, wobbly flesh in all the wrong places and multiple classy tattoos on full display!
scouser 4
Doing (did) well, pie-eater. I have tried to imagine all those yummies.

Mick Rich 78
Actually just found this one I forgot. Bit of a porkie. Now that's more like it!!! Billing Lump is the talllest peak of a massive mountain range between Wigan and St Helens. More SJ1 territory really. It's some trek. That looks like the perfect site for an Iron-Age fort. Has it ever been excavated? (Trust you hiked it naked, of course.) Reminds me of Mt Granview!
