wec100 0
Hi - I'm skiing in Hakuba at the beginning of April and am in the market for ski boots. I'll be in Tokyo for a couple of days before Hakuba and therefore have the option of getting the boots in either location. What I'm particularly interested in is finding somewhere with a good range where I can get some expert advice and a proper fitting done. Any thoughts or assistance gratefully received. Thanks. iiyamadude 6
I would certainly check out the Jimbotcho area in Tokyo where the are lots of sports shops. Should get a good deal then as it's the end of the season. Best to get it out of the way and then enjoy the skiing in Hakuba, right?

snowdude 44
Try Victoria, they have a good selection of boots and will also custom adjust the boots to suit if need be free of charge.

stemik 14
Even though there are a couple of good ski shops in Hakuba, I would definitley buy in Tokyo. I live here but get most of my stuff in Tokyo.
SKI 15
Absolutely Tokyo. I wouldn't want to waste my time in Hakuba searching for boots. Waste of time and a bit risky.

iiyamadude 6
Are you going to be needing big boots thatsthebadger?
snowdude 44
Hope you haven't got size 30 feet like me, as it will be very difficult to find your size. Up to 28 no problem, plenty of choice, beyond that not easy.
