pie-eater 207
Hi I brought my docomo keitai with me back home. When I turn it on every morning, the UK carrier (?) it uses seems to change, even though I am pretty much in the same place every morning. Sometimes it says Orange, sometimes it says TMO UK. Whats the deal there, anyone know?

HelperElfMissy 42
Funny story about that. I just got off the phone to my Mum and she was telling me about the saga of my Aunty's travels to the UK. There were numerous epic fails, but the classic was her sending my Mum a text message from HER PHONE asking Mum to call the phone company to sort out why her phone was not working on global roam like it was supposed to.... -of course it is working when she replies to a text because the prefix international dial numbers are already applied - she is trying to CALL people without the +61 etc. LOL! scouser 4
I was wondering that too. Will they all be the same rates I suppose?
shingaikokujin 0
I believe it'll be the fixed overseas rates set by docomo whichever it uses.
thursday 1
are you sure? Best check that. Partnership carriers offer better rates as a preferred partner.
pie-eater 207
Theres an overseas Docomo rate list isnt there. So surely thats what you pay, whatever that carrier whatever comes up is. Just guessing.
Karnidge 2
Be careful - don't use the internet on a docomo phone overseas unless you are prepared to pay! I did once for just a very short time, out of necessity but was when I got the bill a month or so later.
