2pints-mate 0
Often wondered this. As stamps (you know, for letters/post) go up from 1st April, I was wondering why we still have 2nd class stamps. Is it a UK thing or do other countries offer this silly idea. I'm sure it must have been a good one someday in the distant past. How do post offices work with 2nd class post? Put it to one side for a day or two before processing? Sounds like more work, not less. That's all.
BagOfCrisps 24
Haha totally agree. Pensioners use them (including my mum, bless her). Not of out of not having cash, just unchangeable habits and the pace of life they are used to.
thursday 1
Your country needs to get into the 21st century.
BagOfCrisps 24
You are right. But, does any other country have these silly 2nd class stamps?
thursday 1
seems not. Postal rates here are based on location. Local, cheapest, zone1, 2, 3 airmail. Bulk posting also another pricing regime.
bobby12 0
To be fair Japan has a ton of different ways to send stuff. Yu-mail, Yu-pack, there must be about 5 ways to send a simple domestic letter.
BagOfCrisps 24
We have those things as well here don't we? I thought yu-pack was for boxes and stuff? (I wouldn't know the detail). Just 2nd class stamp on a letter seems strange.
