Davo 1 Posted September 26, 2003 Share Posted September 26, 2003 Yeah Cheesman-I was able to able to grate my board on the rocks so badly I had to stop riding the last time I was there. Poor visibility and a limited off piste base with nice, yet slightly wind blown pow were my downfall. Canterbury club fields rock! I'm looking to going properly backcountry there sometime in the future. They have some good backcountry training courses running around the Craigeburn range(which includes Cheeseman) as well.
